Nobody gets more excited about lawn care than Max!
 But I know an awesome bird when I see one. Jon's Lawns of Annapolis was working in Bay Highlands, Annapolis today when this guy swooped about 5 feet over my head and then landed in this tree. Did a bird search and it looks like he is a broad-winged hawk. Very impressive animal.  UPDATE: The neighborhood broad-winged hawk was spotted again. This time lounging on a client's hardscape patio.
 Professional Fertilizer Applicator license arrived at Jon's Lawns of Annapolis today.
Maryland instituted new laws starting October 1, 2013 to ensure that anybody applying fertilizer in the state of Maryland does so in a way that is both healthy for the lawn and healthy for surrounding waterways including the Chesapeake Bay. http://mda.maryland.gov/Pages/fertilizer.aspx More on this to come but rest assured that Jon's Lawns of Annapolis is legal and ready to "green-up" this spring!  A tale of two yards! Wow. After so many leaves pile up you may forget how nice your grass looks under there.
