"I want you to know that I am so totally satisfied with your turf management. I have no more clover since your second treatment; I just have beautiful grass and I love that. Thank you! -Linda M, Annapolis

Proper mowing is the first step to a great lawn. Once you have an optimal mowing program in place, Lawn Care is the next step. Your lawn has nutritional needs like any living organism and this process should be done in an environmentally responsible way.
A soil test will determine exactly what your lawn needs. The goal is to get your lawn all of the nutrients that it needs for growth and appearance, but not more than it needs, because anything more can end up leaching into local water sources. Weed treatments are applied to keep weeds from creeping into your lawn. If any weeds do make it in, they can be spot-treated to remove them. A summer grub control treatment eliminates the critters that feed on grass roots and cause rodents to dig up your lawn looking for them. Finally, lime is a natural, winter treatment to be sure your soil does not become too acidic.
Lawn Care programs typically require seven to ten treatments per year but the program will be customized to suit your specific lawn's needs and your expectations. You will notice an immediate boost in the appearance of your yard but more importantly a long-term improvement in its health. |
